Millet is naturally gluten-free and rich in minerals and antioxidants. What’s more, millet boasts the highest calcium content of all cereal grains.

Millet is rich in phenolic compounds such as ferulic acid and catechins that protect our bodies from harmful oxidative stress. Catechins bind to heavy metals in our bloodstream to prevent metal poisoning.

In our family, we mostly consume millet as an alternative to oats, e.g. to make a hearty and nutritious oatmeal.
