- Sediment filtration
Unlike in Canada or some sates in the US, Costa Rica does not add chloramine in the water. For this reason, you don’t need to pay for a filter feature that is simply not necessary in this country!

WATER QUALITY IN COSTA RICA
I chose Aqualux for my family having researched water quality in Costa Rica. A quick search on google will return a lot of results suggesting what a great water quality Costa Rica has. This is true only relatively speaking , i.e. if you compare it to the water across many states in the US, many industrialized mega cities etc. It does not mean you should shower in water that’s not filtered, or – even worse- drink tap water if you’re connected to ASADA or AyA.
