Osa Natural is called Dr. Bronner’s of Costa Rica. It was founded in 2010, and has since then been producing similar style products like Dr Bronner’s just with locally sourced and hand-made organic coconut oil instead of palm oil.
While you can certainly find “natural” shampoos in Costa Rica, very few of them – if any! – are “Non-toxic steps certified”. After scratching the surface, you can quickly learn that they are mostly non-organic (or only partially organic) and contain at least some synthetic ingredients, including fragrance. In other words, “natural” doesn’t necessarily equal non-toxic or safe.
Osa Natural is all about old fashioned making of organic and high-quality hand, body soaps, shampoos and other skin care products. They use no surfactants, no synthetics, no sulfates or phosphates.
