Dis-ease is never random
Dis-ease is not a punishment. It’s not an attack. It’s not an accident. It’s never random.
Dis-ease is always a response – to smth we’ve been processing or been exposed to
I don’t buy into the scientifically unproven (even if widely established) belief of random vicious microorganisms attacking us to make us ill.
Both bacteria and viruses are intelligent responses created by our bodies/environment to either clean up the waste (= result of being “sick”) or signal the environment. This is a massive simplification but I’ll leave it at that for now as this discussion is beyond the scope of this post.
I’d highly recommend reading the Contagion Myth by Dr Tom Cowan if you’d like to know more, alternatively watch the very informative “The End of Covid” videos released by the team of Alec Zec.
Homeostasis = health
So let’s re-focus. If we cannot blame the Vs or the Bs to make us sick, what makes us sick then?
As a matter of fact, only Western medicine invokes the concept of viral or bacterial transmission. Ancient healing systems like the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda look at imbalances, diet and toxins as the causes of disease.
There’s rarely – if ever – a single factor that tips us over from a healthy to a sick state. Most often, it’s an accumulation of a number of different causes that overtime throw our body out of homeostasis (balance).
In other words, homeostasis = health, lack of homeostasis = disease.
Figuring out what you’ve been exposed to and resolving it is what healing is about. This is how we become healthy. Not by suppressing symptoms but by addressing the root cause.
That’s why I’m inherently sceptic about the conventional/allopathic healthcare (I’d prefer to call it a sick-care system). It takes a bunch of investigative work to find that root cause. And we are all bioindividual. So even if some symptoms (e.g. cold) look the same, the cause can be totally different. And we all know how much time doctors have at their disposal. They follow a highly structured protocol. Like pilots follow a flight path.
Even if some symptoms of a dis-ease look the same, the cause can be totally different
But unlike planes, we are not machines, therefore we need a more sophisticated approach.
For the past few years, I’ve been deeply un-learning and re-learning most of the things I’d considered true. And when it comes to health and wellbeing, I’ve come to the understanding that most of the root causes broadly fall into one of five large groups:
1. Emotional trauma
In my experience, German New Medicine (GNM) is often a very useful “flight path” one can follow during the investigative work of finding the root cause. GNM is a health perspective that provides us a new understanding of “diseases” as Significant Biological Special Programs built into all organisms, in order to assist us in dealing with unexpected, emotionally distressing situations. GNM founder Dr. Hamer was able to identify a very specific correlation between our physical symptoms, our brain and unexpected emotional distress in our lives, also known as “conflict shocks”. His scientific research has provided us with a “map” that can help identify what symptoms and organs are controlled from what areas of the brain and also what type of “conflict shock” we experienced.
When we experience a “conflict shock” (i.e. an unexpected and distressing event, phone call, email, comment, criticism etc.), an “impact” (also known as a Hamer Focus), will instantly appear somewhere in the brain, that is visible on a CT scan as a set of sharp concentric rings.
The area of the brain affected by this “impact” (Hamer Focus) will initiate physiological changes in a specific organ of the body controlled from that particular area of the brain.
These organ changes are what manifests as our physical symptoms (i.e. joint pain, skin rash, diarrhea, etc.). Our ability to identify and resolve the original “conflict shock”, will signal the brain to stop the physiological changes on the organ level, often leading to symptom relief.
The Five Biological Laws of the New Medicine are applicable to practically all diseases (except for in cases of severe malnutrition, poisoning, or an injury) known in medicine and are verifiable in each patient’s case. Since 1981, Dr. Hamer’s findings have been tested more than 30 times by several physicians and professional associations supported by signed documents (see Verifications). All documents attest to the 100% accuracy of his discoveries.
To give you an example, according to the GNM, an ear “infection” could be a sign of something you’ve heard that you’re not able to process, or, in contrast, something you need to hear but haven’t heard. (like “I love you”, “You are safe”, etc). In case of children that often develop ear “infections”, that could be a sign that they’ve been hearing parents arguing, and are not able to reconcile what they’ve heard themselves.
As I mentioned in by-passing above, the GNM is not applicable in cases of severe malnutrition, poisoning, or an injury. We can, in fact, break these into separate causes of disease:
2. Physical trauma
Any injury or physical intervention (e.g. surgery) carries some type of trauma until addressed. This applies to everything from root cannels and tonsil removal to brain injury. Physical trauma can impact long-term mortality if energy flow between the meridians is obstructed, and if the injured body part(s) don’t receive full neurological feedback
3. Toxic & inflammatory lifestyle (epigenetics)
Helping people reduce their toxic load was the reason why Non-toxic steps was born.
When toxins enter our bodies they immediately begin causing damage. It could be toxins that we knowingly expose ourselves to (e.g. diet, sedatory lifestyle, lack of sleep, chronic stress etc) to environmental pollutants many are not aware of (fluoride, heavy metals, EMFs etc).
Despite its source, every toxin uses the same method of creating physiological damage – oxidative stress, or oxidative damage. It’s a process whereby a toxin acts as a free radical that causes damage to the cell membrane. Oxidative stress can be simply seen as a rusting process. It’s the same process responsible for aging.
It’s the same process seen happening when a banana turns brown after having been peeled and let to sit in an open air for a few minutes.
There are more and more scientists that believe that all chronic disease, whether it’s a heart disease, cancer, a neurological disorder or any other chronic condition for that matter, results from damaged cells as a consequence of oxidative damage. Damaged cells come from free-radical damage, and free radicals are created and generated by toxins.
Toxins impact all of our bodily systems and can highly reduce our capacity to heal.
4. Energetic stagnation
Another way of understanding how dis-ease manifests is by looking at our energy anatomy (p. 156). Life is one big electromagnetic field of light, sound and vibration. We interact with this integrally connected web through our own electromagnetic field (sometimes called aura or energy body). This energy field holds all of our experiences – both positive and negative ones. It’s like a canvas of our physical body just in an energetic form. All that is embedded in our energy body affects our physical and mental health. As Pam Mantogomery notes discussing Dr Harold Burr’s work, “balancing or restoring the field can reverse the disease processes”. Health and wellbeing is therefore a matter of maintaining a free flow of energy throughout our chakras, meridians and energy cords so that our energy body can exchange information with the surrounding electromagnetic field of its environment, shake off any negative imprints or burdensome attachments and fill in holes and gaps within our field. To the absolute majority of us, this scenario is unfortunately highly unlikely give that we are constantly bombarded by noise, light, radiation, emotional etc pollution. There are many ways to unclog energetic stagnation. If that’s not within your practice, find someone who could scan your energetic field to know which part of your body needs aid in the healing process. Ways to address energetic stagnation include but are not limited to chacra clearing, plant spirit healing, removing negative energy directed at you, receiving closure by cutting or unblocking energy cords of ended relationships, somatic healing etc
5. Genetics
Our bodies carry the legacy of previous generations. Genetic predisposition can make us more or less susceptible to certain exposures but this predisposition could exist for decades or even generations without any noticeable impact on an individual’s health until a certain environmental, emotional, energetic etc factor has been introduced.
So while our genes definitely play a role in our wellbeing, we can either “override” or trigger them with the help of epigenetics – our lifestyle (see above)
Our bodies are healing machines
To sum up, dis-eases are not malignancies but responses generated by our bodies for our survival. Your body is intelligent, and every piece of it functions as a part of a bigger whole rather than in isolation. We are a microcosmos in a larger cosmos. And together with are ONE.
I personally feel very empowered knowing this. This means that by realizing that the cause of a disease is most often within us – we no longer need to outsource our healing to other (allopathic) institutions. I don’t mean to say that we should never get help – not at all. Rather that we are often more powerful than we think, and that we should not underestimate our bodies’ innate ability to heal – if we let them do their job.
This doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s not. But it’s doable. Every time one of my boys starts showing signs of a dis-ease, I become like an investigative journalist trying to understand what they are processing and how I can help them resolve whatever they’re going through.
But by doing that, I hope that they’ll watch and learn that their state of wellbeing has nothing to do with any healthcare budgets, number of doctors per capita or even their education.
I hope they’ll be health rebels – knowing they’re capable of healing themselves and then gently helping others heal too.
Con mucho amor,
